Financial limits for the use of PPGEE funds
(Valid from 10/01/2022 to 03/31/2023)

Assistance 1) Assistance for regular students (scholarship holders or not) of PPGEE and advisors accredited by PPGEE, for payment of registration/travel fees and per diems at a relevant congress in the area whose article must be co-authored between advisor and PPGEE student. See detailed criteria on the “Aid for participation in scientific events” page.

Maximum limit/request:
– Registration/ticket fee (payment in cash)/daily at an International Congress: R$ 15,000.00
– Registration/ticket fee (payment in cash)/daily at the National Congress: R$ 5,000.00

Obs.1: Each article can only have one (1) aid for student or teacher
Obs.2: Each student or teacher can only apply once a year.
Maximum limit on this item 1: BRL 100,000.00

Assistance 2) Publication assistance for professors accredited in the PPGEE program in relevant journals (impact factor > 2.0) and in co-authorship with a student under their guidance regularly enrolled in the PPGEE program (or PPGEE graduates whose defense has taken place within 36 months of the publication date) limited to R$ 16,000.00 per publication. See detailed criteria on the page “Aid for the publication of an article in a journal”. Each teacher can apply for up to 4 journal publication grants per calendar year (year in which publication was approved).

NOTE: In the case of publication with a graduate student, the refund will only be made to the teacher (not to the student).
Maximum limit on this item 2: BRL 250,000.00

Assistance 3) Assistance with the publication of extra pages for professors accredited in the PPGEE program in relevant journals (impact factor > 2.0) and in co-authorship with a student under their guidance regularly enrolled in the PPGEE program (or PPGEE graduates whose defense has taken place until 36 months from the date of publication) limited to R$5,000.00 per publication. Each teacher can request up to 2 extra pages publication aid per calendar year (year in which publication was approved).
Maximum limit on this item 3: BRL 50,000.00

Assistance 4) Consumable material/software for collective use (or for a large number of students in the PPGEE program) and equipment maintenance.
Maximum limit on this aid 4: BRL 100,000.00
